Directions

Travelling on the M1 North
Take the EMPIRE ROAD R55 off-ramp. The off-ramp will fork; take the right fork HILLBROW R55. At the yield sign, make a sharp right turn (All most a U-turn) into YALE ROAD. Head back up underneath the M1 Highway towards WITS ENTRANCE 7. Drive to the VISITORS boom and inform security that you are going to Olives & Plates Club. Follow directions in point 6.

Travelling on the M1 South
Take the EMPIRE ROAD R55 off-ramp, keep in the middle lane. At the traffic light turn right onto EMPIRE ROAD, keep left. Pass underneath the M1 Highway, keeping left. Take the slipway left onto YALE ROAD. Head straight up, underneath the M1 Highway, towards WITS ENTRANCE 7. Drive to the VISITORS boom and inform security that you are going to Olives & Plates Club. Follow directions in point 6.

Travelling East on Empire Road
At the intersection of EMPIRE ROAD and YALE ROAD (Toyota Dealership on your left). Turn Right into YALE ROAD. Head straight up, underneath the M1 Highway, towards WITS ENTRANCE 7. Drive to the VISITORS boom and inform security that you are going to Olives & Plates Club. Follow directions in point 6.

Travelling West on Empire Road
Pass underneath the M1 Highway, keeping left. Take the slipway left onto YALE ROAD. Head straight up, underneath the M1 Highway, towards WITS ENTRANCE 7. Drive to the VISITORS boom and inform security that you are going to Olives & Plates Club. Follow directions in point 6. v
Travelling South on Jan Smuts
Pass over the M1 highway, heading towards Johannesburg Central. At the intersection of JAN SMUTS and EMPIRE ROAD, Parktown Boys High School on your left. KPMG on your right. Turn right onto EMPIRE ROAD. Carry on straight through the first Traffic Light. Pass underneath the M1 Highway, keeping left. Take the slipway left onto YALE ROAD. Head straight up, underneath the M1 Highway, towards WITS ENTRANCE 7. Drive to the VISITORS boom and inform security that you are going to Olive & Plates Club. Follow directions in point 6.

6. Directions from the Entrance of Wits
Head straight up from the boom and get into the right-hand lane. At the first Stop Sign, turn right into the tunnel underneath the M1 Highway. After exiting the tunnel, turn right at the Four-way Stop. Head down (North), there will be parking lots on your left and right-hand sides. The road will get to an S-bend (Hall on your left, Squash Courts on your right) keep following the road. As you come out of the S-bend the road will curve to the left. There will be White Cape Dutch Buildings on your left and a Parking lot on your right. Turn right into the parking lot and park, head towards the White Cape Dutch Buildings. You have arrived. Welcome!
