- Copper Kettle Wine & Beverage ListFun facts about South African Wine
- Almost 100% of the wine made in South Africa is produced sustainably
- South Africa is the 8th largest wine producing region in the world
- South Africa is one of the oldest wine regions outside of Europe
- There are over 1000 wine farms in South Africa
- Grape varieties are called cultivars- Bubbles
- Cap ClassiqueMCC is made using the same traditional methods as the age old Methode Champenoise. The grapes used for crafting MCC are typically picked at the beginning of harvest while the sugar levels are still low. The grapes are then pressed and fermented whereafter additional sugar and yeast is added to allow the mixture to undergo a second fermentation in the bottle. It is during this second fermentation that the bubbles are formed and that a beautiful, unique flavour is developed.Kleine Zalze Brut Rose - Pinot Noir 60% Chardonnay 40%R 265.00Pongracz Blancs de Blancs - Chardonnay 100%R 290.00Ken Forrester Sparkle Horse - Chenin Blanc 100%R 300.00Domaine des Dieux Claudia Brut - Chardonnay 82% Pinot Noir 18%R 385.00
