      1. Children’s Birthday Parties
         We have a fun kids package that each includes a kiddies meal, ice cream cone, ice tea and a party pack for R130. De Oude Social Café has a jumping castle and a huge kiddies play area with a nice sand pit to entertain the little ones. We can organize a face painter at additional costs.
      2. Set Menus
         There are three set menus to choose from. All starters are served platter style for the table. The Main course you have a choice of 3 to choose from. Please email for any further information.
      3. Terrace and Courtyard
         We have a beautiful Terrace overlooking the Golf course, which can also be hired out for private events at a minimum spend. 
         Our Courtyard is situated under green grape vines, which we planted ourselves. It overlooks the children’s play area and the sand pit, as well as a beautiful Oak Tree, which the First Lady of the house planted 341 years ago.
      4. Minimum Spend
         Minimum spend means spending the designated amount on food and beverages for exclusive use of one of the above three function areas. Minimum spend is dependent on what you and your guests will be ordering. If the value of your final food and beverages account is less than the exclusivity minimum spend fee, De Oude Social Café shall not pay back the difference, as this fee guarantees the exclusive use of the venue and it will be charged to venue hire on the final bill.
      5. The minimum spend includes:
         Exclusive use of the preferred venue:
         Set up & Breakdown: on the function date only.
         All your food and beverage up until the minimum spend amount.
         Service staff: Waiters, Barmen, Floor Manager / Event Manager, Executive Chef and kitchen staff (number of staff dependent on number of Guests).
         Crockery, cutlery and glassware that we stock at De Oude Social Café.
         Equipment and furniture that we stock at De Oude Social Café (please note that from time to time the quantities of these items might fluctuate due to maintenance and replacement of items)
      6. The minimum spend excludes:
         Lighting, sound, audio visual and power requirements 
         Structures i.e. marquees, Bedouin tent, draping, decking, staging, and dance floor.
         Entertainment i.e. DJ or band.
         Hiring:
         - Furniture i.e. round reception dinner tables and trestle tables, reception and ceremony chairs, cocktail tables and plinths.
         - Linen i.e. all linen for hired tables and linen and/or runners for our tables and linen napkins for an all exclusive function 
         - All décor i.e. flowers, table arrangements, candles and lanterns (no open flames, must be enclosed in hurricane lanterns or glass containers), name cards, seating plans, decorative printed menus, table numbers, signage and easel.
         - Cakes stand, cake knife and take-away cake box.
         - Photographer & videographer.
         - Marriage Officer i.e. priest.
         - 12.5% Gratuity on the final bill.
