  Only leaving this comment for management transparency. As a first-time diner with my visiting Irish family last night, we had a regretful experience:
  
  1) We had to clear our own starter cutlery & crockery from the table as the waitress neglected to do so herself after waiting for 30mins
  2) The mains arrived: each of the 5 dishes was intolerably cold (not by design but rather, I assume, neglect); the fillet ordered arrived practically ‘well done’ (‘rare’ was requested). Here’s the kicker: my pizza didn’t arrive at all. My family ate without me.
  3) We walked to the counter to pay up front as it seemed clear that we would not get swift attention by the staff and, quite frankly, we wanted out of there: my pizza was sitting in a takeaway box somewhere amid the madness that consumed the serving counter. Forgotten about once more.

  If you're searching for delicious food, great wine, and a view that is hard to beat.. Look no further! We visited the Blacksmiths kitchen on the Pearl Mountain Estate for a delicious lunch.
  
  >We were treated to an amazing 5 course tasting menu, each paired beautifully with a wine, beer or coffee and I can easily say the food was prepared to perfection! The smoked salmon trout was fresh and so tasty, and that springbok shank was incredible.. It literally fell off the bone! I loved that they're willing to try new things and this was evident in their pizza rolls (with an apple purée) and their summer citrus salad. So yummy!
  
  To end off, we had a delicious chocolate tart and vanilla bean homemade ice cream.. Wow!

  After bearing such praise from this restaurant, we tried it out. To eat, we ordered the farmyard pizza, 300g rump steak with mushroom sauce and ended off with a seasonal fruit pavlova.
