  We went to Cargo Hold for a family lunch to celebrate my son’s 18th birthday. For us it turned out to be a perfect venue. It was comfortably airconditioned & the giant fish tank was a huge hit with kids & grandparents! You are endlessly entertained watching the fish, sharks & rays swim by. As well as the novel ‘decor’ the food was excellent. We tried the mussel pasta, grilled calamari, kingklip, sirloin & the venison (kudu) fillet. Each dish was beautifully presented & the rare & medium rare steaks cooked to perfection. Our waiter was cheerful & gave great service.
  Negatives - the tables need a revamp or a table cloth. The coffee cups were like the old railway cups. But those were minor details to us & overall we’d rate it a 5 star experience & a lovely venue for a special occasion. ...Read more
