  What was supposed to be a romantic evening out turned into a very sour tasting experience. After starting on my Venison Carpaccio, I was surprised by a really long hair in my food. The manager was called, but no attempt was made to replace the dish. With our starters still on the table, the main meal arrived. Nothing was cleared on the table and we had no place to start out meal. The steak was of a great standard, but the service was terrible. After long waiting periods we were left looking at each other in silence while waiting for napkins, refill on Coke, water etc. The manager visited our table for a second time but it had no effect on the service. After a very long distasteful evening we finally made it to the pay point, at which the waiter wanted to know "for how much the total" was. After realizing there was no tip, he proceeded to throw what we will call "a tantrum". We explained to our good friend the manager the reason and were offered no compensation....Read more
