  It's been a long time since I have visited Cattle Baron Plattekloof. Having heard it was under new management, we decided to give it a go while in town visiting our daughter. All I can say is WOW. Not being a big red meat eater, I opted for the Pantagonian Calamari Tubes with garlic butter, grilled to perfection, soft and tender. My partner decided on the Mussel carpetbag. With my daughter having the Habenero fillet. I tried both my partners and daughters steak both cooked at different temperatures (given that my daughter still likes her steak mooing when it gets to the table) and I was blown away by both.
  It was soft and tender and tasty, no words can compliment the food enough.
  Not only was the food out of this world. The service was top notch. Our waiter Chris was superb. Everything about Cattle Baron Plattekloof is on point.
