  Michelle and her staff will go to the ends of the earth that ensure that your dining experience is 10/10. Best chops, East coast sole and Kingklip under the sun. Warm, welcoming environment which feels homely and inviting. Never ever miss a chance to dine there when visiting Port Elizabeth. The portions are big and hearty and service is impeccable. The menu is varied with something for everyone and each time I eat there, I am more impressed than the time before. Owner operator which makes the world of difference. Best place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries etc as one is treated royally. I would recommend de Kelder in PE any day of the week.   Op zaterdagavond 29 december zonder reservering naar binnen gegaan met 7 personen en er werd direct een tafel gecreëerd. Verlichting is gedimd, maar zeker een goede ambiance. Zover wij hebben ervaren waren alle producten vers en van goede kwaliteit.
  Bediening vriendelijke en alert maar zeker niet opdringerig.
  Kortom een aanrader als je in Port Elizabeth bent

  Visted PE for a concert and wanted to try the local restaurants. Searched all websites and got De Kelder as no 1. Did not make a booking and arrived on Saturday night just after 6. Asked for reservation of which i had none! Then made a plan to accommodate us even without a booking! Christina was our very attentive and entertaining waitress and quickly explained the best dishes on the menu. We were quickly served our wine and the orders was ready in less than 30 minutes. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to try starters main and dessert but the main course was to die for. Any person that visit PE should sample De Kelder at least once!!...Read more
