  I came here for a breakfast date with a friend and I was pleasantly surprised by the cosy interior of the restaurant. We've always driven past the random windmill on Van Riebeek and had no idea that this little restaurant was hidden inside.
  
  We had to try their namesake and ordered two pancakes to share. We had a bacon and Dutch Apple to start, and I was surprised that the bacon was cooked into the pancake. They also serve it flat like a pizza. The bacon was nice and the apple wasn't bad, but I expected a bit more from the pancake. We also had a custard and cherry one. The pancake was better this time (maybe because it was a bit thinner), and the custard was delicious. The cherries were also nice but the cherry syrup was a bit too sickly sweet and didn't go well with it.
  
  Overall a quaint little spot that's nice for get togethers, the pancakes were good but not amazing. They also have a nice bakery downstairs that serves a lot of yummy looking pastries....Read more
