  After desperately missing Thailand and their cuisine, I decided to try out our local Wang Thai at the Lagoon Beach hotel. After hearing so much about it and some mixed reviews, I tried it myself and was pleasantly surprised. They have quite an extensive menu, from sushi and dim sum, to your noodle, rice and Thai curry dishes. Their wine is affordable and they have a good variety to choose from.
  
  I had some sushi to start off with, and although it was not the best I've had, it was still fresh and tasty. Their dim sum was also worth trying, but unfortunately was a bit cold. I loved the assortment of spring rolls, these were particularly good, and the dipping plum and sweet chilli sauce paired so nicely!
  
  As a main, my partner and I shared the chicken and prawn fried rice and the prawn Phad Thai.. It tasted very similar to what we had in Thailand, so definitely a winner there!
