The Portaguese word "tasca" describes quaint cafés, bistro's or taverna's. These little, well known restaurants are delightful places to eat at. Good food is always prepared with love and consummate skill, using the freshest ingredients available.
While you sit here in the Rossio Square, we shall always endevour to uphold this tradition. Thus if the quality of some ingredients are not up to standard, they will unfortunately be unavailable and as we uniquely prepare each meal from order, we ask you to be patient, relax and enjoy your stay the Portguese way.

Come to Atasca to experience the best beef espetada in town - 300 gram skewer of cubed rump, flame grilled with coarse salt, bay leaves & served with garlic butter or peri peri & choice of side. Atasca have plenty to offer on the menu, including pastas, salads, seafood and grills.
Try the Mariscada, a seafood feast consisting of fresh fish, prawns and calamari grilled in lemon garlic butter sauce or optional peri-peri or have the Bife a Portguesa - steak served the traditional way, topped with an egg and covered in a mushroom, garlic, mild peri-peri, herb and wine sauce.
