Cicada Restaurant and Craft Bar is situated in well-known Sonpark Food Zone in Nelspruit. This trendy hotspot has a fun, modern interior. The decor is made up of a mix of materials and features a cement floor, wooden and metal tables, funky stools in red, white and grey, interesting light fixtures and plants in metal hangers on wooden wall pallets. A bar is situated on one side of the restaurant displaying rows of craft beer and a pop of bright yellow can be found throughout the restaurant space.
Cicada is becoming extremely popular for their sushi. These dishes are served in portions of 8 and are simple yet delicious. They even have biltong sushi served with avo and cream cheese. Other popular items on the menu include the Chicken Wrap, the Cicada Burger (with avo, bacon, mushrooms and a cheese sauce) and the Peppadew Steak (layers of peppadew and cheese sauce over a 200g sirloin or fillet steak).
