Jacques Erasmus and the Hemelhuijs team carefully source ingredients and interweave the flavours of childhood memories and that of the exotic.
Our menu changes seasonally and also features touches brought from our world travels. We dream, we cook, we travel, we eat well and invite you to join us.... Our offerings are presented in generous hand crafted vessels and service is simple, attentive but relaxed. Hemelhuijs also boasts its own home ware range and patrons can experience this unique range first hand in the restaurant, from the minimalist and clean lined solid oak chairs and tables, to the bowls, plates and vases that is part of our everyday use.
