Mambo’s is essentially a pub which calls a quaint, thatched roof cottage home. Tucked away in Plumstead, just off the main road, Mambo’s is a popular place amongst locals for catching up after work or grabbing a scrumptious pub lunch over the weekend.
Mambo’s is full of character and appeals to a range of people. The building itself is old imbuing the eatery with an air of dignity, but the indoor area is renovated to suit modern standards. The style is that of an old English pub, with beers and wines to compliment an afternoon of sports watching on our multiple television sets. There is no smoking indoors.
For a different vibe patrons can grab a table on our patio, where they can indulge themselves with a treat from our cocktail list while watching the passing parade. This is a shady area, making it a good place for a drink even on the hottest days.
The restaurant is small and casual; come as you are. Food offerings include classic pub meals like bangers and mash, livers and onions, fisherman’s pie – all at amazingly affordable prices! You can also go for classics like a burger, fish ‘n chips or if you’re in a rush, a good old toasted pita. If it is not a full meal that you are after, you can choose from our selection of tapas and dips served with pita bread.
