Miko is the ideal setting for some fantastic gourmet meals including for those special occasions. Start the evening off with a refreshing cocktail from our bar and find a comfy space on the terrace to watch the sun set. The restaurant has a distinctly Provencal feel that is enhanced by an elegant, contemporary design. Complete with wrap-around views, and overlooking the glorious Franschhoek valley and magnificent estate, cuisine can be enjoyed indoors or on the spacious terrace.
The restaurant is firmly established among the Cape’s leading dining venues, and offers a beautifully presented menu featuring classic International cuisine, which, with a uniquely South African flavour, has been transformed into exciting culinary creations.
Miko offers Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner as well as a Bar Terrace Menu for lighter snack. A selection of award-winning Mont Rochelle vintages produced on the farm are also available to enjoy with your chosen meal.
You will find choices such as Scallops with a purée of local freshly pickled guava, garden peas and finished with a vanilla foam and micro greens, Marinated Kudu Carpaccio with biltong shavings and amarula gel complemented with pickled baby beets, Karoo Lamb Loin with goat's cheese mousseline and finger eggplants, candied olives, infused with an African wild garlic jus and Valrhona Chocolate Extravaganza - white chocolate mousse with a chocolate fondant and coffee syrup.
