The Mediterranean diet is world renowned for its healthy balance, with plenty of fresh produce, olive oil and wine. Then there are also the festivities – religious holidays, weddings - when the heritage of centuries of fine cooking is revived, and the feasting and dancing goes on late into the night. This is the tradition which inspired restaurateur Dino Fagas to open Prosopa - a venue where all are welcome.

As well as regularly hosting wedding receptions and special banquets, we pride ourselves on our monthly wine evenings, when the Cape’s top winemakers join us to present their finest creations, all perfectly paired with a special menu devised by our team of chefs.
