Stanford Kitchen is a quaint eatery in Stanford, one of the most beautiful towns of the Overberg region.
Situated in the middle of Stanford Village, Stanford Kitchen has become an institution among locals and visitors alike. It is housed in an old historic, heritage building. What used to be a residential home of yesteryear, has been converted into a charming restaurant that promotes art in its various forms. The walls are adorned with stunning paintings from local artists, special display cabinets contain handcrafted pottery items & scupltures and part of the house also serves as a permanent Art Gallery.
Stanford Kitchen makes lovely artisanal pizza, great coffees, juicy steaks and amazing grilled/fried calamari. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and can offer a great selection of Bruce Jack wine.
Sit inside by the cosy wood-burner, lit in winter, enjoy the afternoon sunshine on the back stoep or sit at their small tables on the front stoep and watch Stanford life go by. Be inspired by the beautiful artworks surrounding you and forget about the rat race for just a little while.
