The Kloof Railway Station building was built in 1912 and operated as a railway station until 1983 when the railway line was de-commissioned. In 1987 the building was converted into the Stoker’s Arms pub and restaurant and has operated as such since then. Over the years, they have added on the awning section, the outside bar, the playground, the railway coach and new paved areas. They are constantly looking at ways to improve the experience here and hope to continue serving customers their "fine fare" for many years to come!
Stoker’s Arms is a popular pub & restaurant situated in the old Kloof Railway Station. It comprises a pub filled with atmosphere, a 60 seater restaurant and a large outside seating area overlooking the railway tracks, protected from the sun by a permanent awning and umbrellas. A railway coach is available for private functions and many a 21st, 40th or 60th birthday has been celebrated in this unique setting.
The unique English style pub has a wide range of drinks available including 9 beers on tap. The kitchen opens at 12 noon each day and food is served until 10pm daily. House specialities are pan meals, steaks, burgers, pizzas and Stokers Arms famous pies ensuring there is something to satisfy everyone. ..
