The Godfather has a proud tradition of exceptional food and service. We have recently upgraded and revamped the entire restaurant. After 25 years, The Godfather has undergone a wonderful facelift, still retaining the warmth and the ambiance our guests have grown to love but in a new fresh "coat". We have added a private function venue that seats up to 22 people at one large table, with its own bar. We have also added an outside deck area where guests can dine in summer and on warm winter days. Our exclusive kitchen boutique shop within the restaurant has been repositioned to make it more visible and accessible, and now has pride of place in the centre of the restaurant.
And as always our cosy friendy pub where guests can play the Jukebox, have an after dinner nightcap, or hold birthday parties or casual work functions. Obviously, the forerunner to all this is The Godfather's reputation for exceptional food and service, with our legendary Spare Rib and our Famous New York Sirloin getting our guests returning time after time.  All beef served at The Godfather is SA grainfed beef. We make a special effort to procure the very best quality products for all menu items. Our beef is matured for a minimum of 21 days and then cut on a daily basis to ensure the finest product for our customers. Vegetables are delivered fresh from the market each day.

We take special pride in the selection of our wines and travel to the Cape regularly to source a few older, fine wines for the discerning palate. The aim of each person at The Godfather is to provide you with a memorable dining experience, with management always on hand to see to your needs and to ensure that food is prepared to the highest standards with quality and hygiene being paramount.  
Please remember that your food may sometimes take a little longer to arrive at your table as everything is freshly and individually prepared. Our waitering personnel and grillers take pride in what they do and we have very high expectations of them. You may too! If your dining experience is less than impressive, please let us know.
