ZIGGY'S ROCK & REGGAE BAR is the 1st of it's kind in PE, and the only seaside Restaurant & Bar nestled in the stunning vegetation of the Cape Recife Nature Reserve. Open for both Lunches & Dinner, we have a varied menu, specializing in Tapas, Seafood & Grills. With a Cozy Fireplace in the Lounge for the Winter, and a big Sea Facing Deck for the Summer, this is certainly the place to be to feel like you're out of the hustle & bustle of the city, even though it's just a 5min drive from the main Beach front hub.
For the family there is also a big Play Area, with Putt-Putt, a Swimming Pool and Donkey Cart Rides to The Penguin Sanctuary in the reserve, all available from Pine Lodge, so there is plenty for the kids to do as well. Very importantly, Ziggy's has ample space on the outside decks and a large grass embankment, enabling us to be the ONLY Dog Friendly Restaurant along the beach front, with even a little snack menu on offer for the furry members of the family.
The concept of ZIGGY'S is cemented firmly in the idea of a relaxed atmosphere, with some great music to set the tone for a good day out with friends or family. Our name is proudly inspired by 50's Rock 'n Roll Icon, David Bowie and his alter ego, ZIGGY STARDUST, as well as the nickname, ZIGGY, which Bob Marley gave to his son David...now known as ZIGGY MARLEY, which is why you will hear nothing but the CLASSICS, from Bob Marley to The Beatles, Jimmy Cliff to the Stones, Peter Tosh to BB King... and well, you get the picture, just all around GOOD TIMES!
