Cape Point Vineyards unique setting does not only lend itself to the production of world class wines - it also provides a breathtaking seat for a Restaurant, Picnic Deli and Function venue with 360 degree views of mountains, fynbos, vineyards, and glorious sunsets over the Atlantic ocean – a mere 33km’s from Cape Town.
On sunny days you will find Cape Point Vineyards lawns sprawled with picnickers lazing the afternoon away; propped up on a luxurious pyramid shaped pillows whilst tucking in to a delightfully rustic picnic basket, boasting treats such as Chicken and Grape Salad and Cheese and Charcuterie with freshly baked Breads and Spreads.

The restaurant is open for lunch and provides an ideal vantage point to enjoy the views year round whilst enjoying fare freshly prepared by Cape Point Vineyards’ Executive Chef, Jonathan Gargan. In summers the menu is set for Al Fresco dining with mouth watering salads and fresh seafood dominating the well rounded menu, whereas winter time is all about indulgence in front of the restaurant’s warm fireplaces.
Under the beduin tent those interested in the art of viniculture can enjoy a wine tasting presented by a knowledgeable assistant - and for those interested in something new - a tasting experience of South Africa’s best craft beers has also recently been introduced.
