Magica Roma is a traditional restaurant with an unmistakable warm and friendly ambience. Under the watchful eye of energetic partners Ezio and Franco, who clearly display genuine passion for their restaurant and its patrons, Magica Roma has maintained its reputation for serving authentic Italian food in delightful surroundings. Recipes are traditional and rely on top quality imported products such as Parmesan cheese, bottled tomatoes, salamis, Parma Ham and olive oil, so there are no short cuts in this kitchen.
Tastefully furnished with upholstered booths and crisp white napery, a feature of the interior is the attractive wood and bamboo ceiling which enhances the traditional character of the restaurant. Of particular importance is the well trained team of waitrons who offer excellent attentive service and hence one of the reasons why Magica Roma continues to be the first choice for local companies who host important business lunches. There is a wide range of Italian wine available to compliment your meal and a grappa trolley with a choice of at least 30 different types of grappa.
The menu is substantial with an excellent selection of starters both hot and cold. Under the Antipasti Freddi both the Tuna Carpaccio and the Antipasto Italiano are highly recommended, and from the Antipasti Caldi the baby Calamari tubes are deliciously tender and certain to impress. On the main course side, veal is definitely a speciality and there are a variety of traditional dishes to choose from including the well known Schnitzel, Piccata and Saltimbocca. The pasta dishes offer plenty of options for vegetarians and all the pasta is home-made or imported to ensure top quality. For dessert try the home made sorbets, Creme BruleƩ
or the decadent Tiramisu.
