At SMOKE, every detail tells a story of local excellence. The venue features three distinct spaces, each promising a unique experience. The Smoke Yard, flanked by two towering smokers under open skies, invites you to savor the art of barbecue in its most authentic form. For cocktail enthusiasts, The Capital is a haven where master mixologists craft exquisite drinks, elevating the cocktail culture to an art. Meanwhile, wine lovers will find solace in the Secretary Lounge, a cozy enclave showcasing South Africa’s premier vintages in a relaxed, sophisticated atmosphere.

At Smoke we use a number of ways of cooking with fire:
1) Open Fire Pits -We keep our fire pits embling, using Vaalbos & Groen Sekelbos sourced from Limpopo
2) Josper Grill -Imported from Spain & powering at over 350 degrees celsiuswith a two draft system, it uses the magic of fire and forms the heart of our kitchen.
3) Cabinet Smokers -Manufactured here in the Capital, our 2 giant cabinet smokers, fuelled by Boekenhout & Kameeldoring wood, towers over the Smoke yard. Some dishes may take over 12 hours to smoke until it's absoulutely perfect.
4) Nexgrill -We have partnered with Nexgrill to bring you a one-of-a-kind smoking experience on the Oakford Pellet Grill. Please ask your waitron or host to find out how you can book your exclusive Nexgrill experience.
